英國新冠疫情近期已有好轉(zhuǎn)，秋季主課開學(xué)臨近，部分大學(xué)已經(jīng)出臺(tái)相關(guān)開學(xué)政策。今天就來盤點(diǎn)一下一些熱門大學(xué)針對(duì)疫情，對(duì)今年秋季開學(xué)的態(tài)度與新政。

曼徹斯特大學(xué)

近日教學(xué)副校長發(fā)布公開信，確認(rèn)新學(xué)年開學(xué)日期不會(huì)有太大變化。本科新生和返校生將在9月到校，大多數(shù)研究生將在10月開學(xué)。  由于預(yù)計(jì)社交疏遠(yuǎn)措施將持續(xù)一段時(shí)間，大課人數(shù)較多且在相對(duì)密閉的空間進(jìn)行，不利于保持社交距離，因此第一個(gè)學(xué)期的講座（lecture）將在線上進(jìn)行，其他人數(shù)較少的教學(xué)形式，例如輔導(dǎo)課（tutorial）、工作坊（workshop）、小組學(xué)習(xí)（small group teaching）計(jì)劃恢復(fù)面授。

本科生和預(yù)科生（新生）

9月21-27日：迎新活動(dòng)和新生培訓(xùn)
9月28日-10月4日：學(xué)院和課程介紹活動(dòng)
10月5日起：教學(xué)開始

本科生和預(yù)科生（老生）

9月28日-10月4日：返校，學(xué)院新學(xué)期課程介紹，上學(xué)期回顧
10月5日起：教學(xué)開始

研究生

開學(xué)時(shí)間：
10月5-11日或12-18日：迎新活動(dòng)和新生培訓(xùn)
10月19-25日：學(xué)院和課程介紹活動(dòng)
10月26日起：教學(xué)開始，提供在線課程選項(xiàng)。

另外，MSc Investigative Ophthalmology and Vision Science專業(yè)取消2020年9月入學(xué)課程。學(xué)校告知，此課程是由Consultant Ophthalmologists from Manchester Royal Eye Hospital設(shè)置并運(yùn)行的，但由于疫情問題，導(dǎo)致學(xué)校不得不召回所有臨床學(xué)者去到NHS工作。這導(dǎo)致學(xué)校不得不將此專業(yè)推遲到下一學(xué)年，所以2020年9月入學(xué)的學(xué)年將不再接受新生。

倫敦國王學(xué)院（KCL）

We are planning for the 2020/21 academic year to start in September, but we recognise we must be prepared to respond to measures to protect the health and wellbeing of our community and that travel may not be advisable for some students. Like all other universities, we are actively planning for campus-based teaching as well as the possibility of online teaching and digital services to ensure that all our students can receive the highest quality education, no matter what the circumstances. We will continue to update you on arrangements and any next steps as our plans develop in line with UK Government advice. 拉夫堡大學(xué)

拉夫堡校區(qū)和倫敦校區(qū)的碩士課程將提供靈活的開學(xué)日期和教學(xué)方式：
學(xué)校計(jì)劃于2020年9月正常開始所有學(xué)術(shù)課程。
除了正常的面對(duì)面教學(xué)，對(duì)由于簽證和旅行原因無法參加面授的學(xué)生，大多數(shù)課程還會(huì)提供第一學(xué)期的在線教學(xué)方式。教材將通過大學(xué)的在線學(xué)習(xí)系統(tǒng)發(fā)送，并將提供一系列其他的在線研討和互動(dòng)課程。這樣的方式，可以幫助那些短期內(nèi)不能旅行的學(xué)生仍然能夠按計(jì)劃在2020年9月開始他們的課程，并在他們能夠做到的時(shí)候加入校園學(xué)習(xí)。
對(duì)于2020.9入學(xué)的拉夫堡大學(xué)的所有碩士課程都將提供第一學(xué)期在線學(xué)習(xí)的機(jī)會(huì)。

巴斯大學(xué)

The alternative plan will include online learning for the start of term. Where possible we would want this to be a ‘blended’ approach including some virtual teaching and some in-person delivery. The University has significant experience of online teaching and we have been developing this further in recent weeks. 在開學(xué)初期，學(xué)校將采用線上網(wǎng)課和面授結(jié)合的方式來教學(xué)。

We are particularly aware of the particular challenges for international students. We appreciate that travel plans may be more difficult and our approach will ensure that you are able to engage to join us even if you cannot physically travel to the University for the start of term. 國際生如果由于疫情影響無法按時(shí)抵達(dá)英國到校，學(xué)校也會(huì)有相應(yīng)措施保證學(xué)生能正常上課。

In case we have to start with online teaching, we are also talking to our Students’ Union and discussing ways protect the Fresher’s experience by including it a little later than usual. This will make sure you do not miss out on important opportunities of the full student experience.在開設(shè)線上網(wǎng)課的同時(shí)，學(xué)校也正在商討方案確保給到新生最好的學(xué)生體驗(yàn)感。

東英吉利大學(xué)UEA

UEA初步計(jì)劃將在9月底正課開學(xué)后采用線上和線下同步教學(xué)的方式。此外，學(xué)校也在積極探討延期開學(xué)的可能性。建議已經(jīng)持有有條件錄取信的新生同學(xué)們盡快轉(zhuǎn)換成無條件，以確保在學(xué)校宣布政策后第一時(shí)間順利入讀。

薩里大學(xué)

Currently the University is planning and preparing for opening the campus in late September, with the intention of delivering teaching via a hybrid model of on-line and face to face. However, as the situation continues to evolve, we will keep you informed should anything change from this plan. The following updates were communicated to all our offer holders today. 

We remain optimistic that course dates will not change and, subject to UK Government advice and restrictions, that teaching will commence on Monday 28 September 2020, in most cases, with Welcome activities starting from Monday 21 September.

從以上學(xué)校公布的政策和開學(xué)方式來看，其實(shí)英國大學(xué)還是希望秋季能夠如期開課，并且非常注重學(xué)生們的留學(xué)體驗(yàn)，在保證同學(xué)們的健康安全前提下，盡量讓學(xué)生們獲得高質(zhì)量的教育和教學(xué)體驗(yàn)感。另外，根據(jù)教育部有關(guān)人士透露，如果因?yàn)橐咔樵斐傻臒o法按時(shí)到英國校園面授而上網(wǎng)絡(luò)課的同學(xué)，不用擔(dān)心回國學(xué)歷認(rèn)證的問題！只要你的學(xué)位課程原本是全日制在校面授的課程，回國畢業(yè)后的學(xué)位證都是正常認(rèn)證的。
